Marsh is a global leader in insurance broking and risk management services. Founded in 1871, the company has grown to become one of the largest and most renowned insurance brokers worldwide. Headquartered in New York City, Marsh operates across multiple continents, serving clients in more than 130 countries.

The Challenge

Marsh had teams who would extract 120 data fields from slips and supporting documentation, while maintaining high levels of accuracy. Business lines included Property, Cyber and FinPro across many geographies and languages. Manually, this was a highly labor-intensive process dealing with huge volumes of slips, with complex fields and associated business rules.

The business case was predicated on making valuable business data available faster and more accurately in order to build comparisons and proposals for new clients quickly, and to deliver productivity levels that would absorb predicted business growth without additional resources.

CMR+ platform enabled a central services team to extract business-critical data from all slips across various business units. The project started form APAC and was rolled out globally.
